Could you tell us a little about yourself?
My name is Caitlin. I am 5+ years old. I love to read, sing, dance and play music. I am now learning the drums and attending Yamaha's Junior Music Course. I've been wanting to play the drums since age 3. I started off with banging on various toy percussion instruments and my mummy's pots and pans. My parents found a suitable teacher for me six months ago who assessed me and said I am teachable at such a young age.

Which church do you attend? And in what area are you serving, if any?
 I sometimes attend my family's church, Our Lady of Lourdes Church, a Catholic church in Klang, where I was baptised. Since I am still young and have only recently become aware of Jesus, I am not serving in church yet.

My teacher, Andrew William, who is also a member of DrummerforChrist, told my mum about the site.  

How long have you been playing drums?
since June/July 2007.
  
What do you practice in drums?
I practise everything that my teacher has taught me, the various rhythms for now.
  
How do you improve yourself besides practicing?
 My mummy and daddy let me listen to various types of music and songs- children's, classical, sentimental, pop, rock, Christian. My mummy tends to point out the rhythms/beats and the drum part in the song. She also asks me to listen to the different instruments in the song and try to name them.

How do you keep yourself spiritually fit?
 I try to say my prayers everynight.
 
Is there any particular drum and cymbal brand you play with?
My parents got me the TAMA Imperial Star set which came with Paiste cymbals.
 
Please explain a little about your drum kit and cymbals (if any)
I'm not familiar technically with the specs.... 

What advice would you give to young drummers who is serving or intended to serve in the worship department?
My mum says - Do it all for the glory of God and be humble

What do you like to do besides drums?
 read, play toys, watch tv, go out, sing, dance

How do you see yourself in your drumming in 10 years? What do you hope to achieve? What is your goal?
I hope Caitlin will continue playing the drums in 10 years (she will be 15 then) and excel in it. She currently has the passion for it and I hope and pray it will last and she will be a good drummer.
