DrummerforChrist (DFC) is a movement for every Christian drummer who wants to share their heart, thoughts, ideas, expressions and creativity with fellow Christian drummers for the extension of our Lord Jesus Christ’s kingdom through drums, music, praise and worship or any other way that will bring glory to Him.

November 2006...

DFC was conceived in November 2006 and was born on February 2007.

Since then, DFC have been actively organising God-planned events, linked to many Christian organisations, websites and churches local and abroad.

With God, all things are possible. For He has brought DFC from local to international meetings, roadshows, concerts and conferences. We are called to be inspiring, motivating, encouraging, influential and supportive.

From the founder

November 2006, I wanted to do something more than just daily work and fixed routine. So, I put my years of experience in advertising, my passion.. drums (of cos) and Faith together, and came out with DrummerforChrist.com. I didnt know what to do and where to start except info about myself, but again... "would people care about who i am or what i do?" I pondered. "It'll be all about me, myself and I."

Then, I thought, "Why not feature Christian drummers who has the similar passion and faith?". That was a great idea. Then, I started to go around town looking for drummers. And there goes, Christian drummers are being featured, that was the year 2007, when DrummerforChrist.com was launched.

I went from churches to concerts and grab every opportunity to meet up with people. Through recommendations after recommendations, I managed to make friends with lots of professional musicians, people in the music industries and people from the medias. What a divine appointment!

Portfolios are important in advertising. Therefore it was time for DFC to own some portfolios, not just showing off of what we can do but portray the greatness of Jesus Christ what He can do through us. 50-Hours is history (click here), Shed Sessions is on going, Road Shows is coming our way, Concerts and Workshops are in the midst of planning and many many more to come. God is just simply amazing and constantly surprises me with Wow ideas.

Of cos, not forgetting those who has been with DFC, experienced joy, fun, blessings, and all the good stuff God has brought us. The experiences we had are beyond descriptions. All of us are truely blessed because we all believe the power of sowing and ripping, for He has given all of us the talent for His glory.

Well, it wasn't easy I must say planning everything. By God's grace He has provided me with a good and detailed PA (aka my wife), Liann. We both work closely together for every event, doesn't matter they are big or small. We were also blessed with 3 beautiful and adorable kids, Ashley, Alyson and Asaph.

Til this day, God has been truely a God who provides. All credits and glory to Him. DFC is getting bigger in numbers and our ideas are getting bigger, bolder and more radical. I must say that my cup is over flowing. We hope you can be a part of DFC and share your passion, strength and enthusiasm with us. We constaintly in need of manpower in everything we do.
